Area Agency on Aging
The Area Agency on Aging provides planning and advocacy for seniors and contracts with other local non-profit organizations to provide a variety of services under the guidelines of the Older Americans Act and Older Californians Act.
These contracted services include home-delivered meals; congregate dining centers; information and assistance; case management, legal assistance; transportation; ombudsman for individuals living in facilities; adult day care; senior peer counseling; assistance to the visually impaired; caregiver support; Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program, etc.
